Well I finally got a chance to hunt deer this year. I officially think work should be illegal!! Anyway I had 3 days of mule deer hunting this season before I go on my elk hunt. Luckily I had some guys unknowingly push this guy to me. Not a monster, but the heaviest deer I have ever shot. By far the smelliest deer I have shot also. Pure Rut. I shot him with one of my 7mmRemMag's with 160gr Accubonds at about 250yards(next year it gets 160gr Partition seconds). BANG FLOP and slide down the hill. I was hunting private land in the Highwood Mtns.
