I will be bowhunting for Mule Deer in Western Kansas this fall for about a week. We plan on hunting before the bird season starts so it will be in the first two weeks of Nov. Does anyone know if that is pre rut or any other information on these critters. It will be my first attempt to hunt them. The property is farm land with brushy/wooded draws and that is about all I know. The land owner will be pointing us in the direction but then we are on our own. I figure we will spend the first evening and next morning glassing and trying to find some movement. I hear that the mule deer do not have the patterns that white tail do and seem to wonder more???? Any advise would be great. [ 08-21-2003, 04:41: Message edited by: bo-n-aro ] | ||
