So anyone ever seen an alien while out hunting?

There was one at Ryan dam tonight.
7 1/2 feet tall, very thin, light in color, big eyes. Likes to play hide a seek but will stand tall when you spot him, and let out a high pitch chirp/whistle.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

So its snowing and just getting dark and the hunter sees what looked like a tall post against the far side of the coulee across from him (50 yards away).

He takes his flashlight and shines the light on it and sees it looks like a very tall humanoid standing there casting a shadow on the rock wall behind it.

The hunter thinks "damn that looks like an alien". Then it begins to walk up the side of hill and quickly gets to the top and out of sight. It had about a 6 foot stride and walked 50 feet in a couple seconds.

The hunter then backs out of the coulee to get up on top opposite the side the alien went. Almost out of the coulee the hunter looks back towards the other side again and can see something peeking over the edge of the rim and when he turns his light on it he could see the huge eyes reflecting back and the alien was either laying prone or just crouched very low to the ground. After a couple seconds the alien simply stood tall with his arms to his side and let out a series of about 8 screeches (two sets of four) that were part chirp and part whistle but very high pitched.

The hunter said he looked away for a second and then he looked back and the alien was out of sight. At that point the hunter ran back to the truck about 1/3 mile away.

Right on top he called me and said he was being chased. I was in the truck and turned on the lights and sure enough could see his light moving and could tell he was running full speed.

When he got to the truck he said he was being chased by an alien and was very out of sorts. I calmed him down and heard his story.

I told him people have seen impossible things before and to not let what he saw get the best of him. I told him to own it and not let it own him. I explained that it sounds that if it wanted to get him it could have easily done so in seconds and he agreed.

No matter what anyone may think it still makes a good story.

Less than ten years but close.

I still have to get him to Alaska to deer hunt there. Deer hunting surrounded by bears can be stimulating at times.

People shouldn't drink when they're hunting, it's not safe.

Saw aliens while out Coues Deer hunting in Arizona a couple weeks ago. Actually had one walk right into camp. None were seven feet tall though. These aliens were of Mexican border variety.

So I am telling the story to a friend today and my friend says " I have a picture for you".

This is two weeks ago during a big snow and the truck got stuck. During the time trying to get the truck out one of the party is taking pictures of the truck and the road. The eyes were not seen until looking at the pictures at home.

Looks like a light colored humanoid crouched down there just watching away.

My friends and I have seen and heard stuff while hunting that we can't explain. You gotta just roll with it.

Go read the 411 Missing books, especially the one about hunters.

And remember what Arnold said in Predator "If it bleeds we can kill it."

May I suggest one these for your backpack? Smaller than an AT4. LAW

Definitely have to roll with it.

I ended up having to pack my cow elk out in the dark with the hunter from the original post. All was well and normal.

I was talking yesterday with my wife and my hot neighbor (her being hot has no bearing on this, I just like to think about it) regarding kids and Santa and other things they believe in and our conversations with our kids. I remarked on the fact that when we are young we believe in things until they are disproven. When we are adults we won't believe until it's proven. With the exception of our given choice of belief in a deity. Faith in God without proof is seen as a virtue. But we won't believe he could have created life on other planets without proof? That's odd isn't it?

Some examples: Immaculate conception, believe. Bigfoot, don't believe. Creation of universe, believe. Aliens no.

Personally I believe in God and have faith in things that can't be proven. I also try to be open minded about things like this. I'm just pointing out that many people are very one sided in what they are willing to accept.

Around here, Mountain Dew is another name for moonshine. I suggest your friend seek professional help for his hallucinations.

I can agree with this wholeheartedly.

I've heard some incredible stories from some very credible individuals.
Although I've never experienced any unexplained sighting of spirit, beast or unidentified objects I still have an open mind in case it happens.
To rule out the possible is closing your mind and assuring yourself that it is impossible.

That area (Great Falls, Malmstrom AFB) has a long history of sightings. Never seen one myself by hard to believe it isn't possible.
