MOA, I have not seen or read of such maps put out by TP&W. Feral Hogs are pretty much state wide. Axis/Fallow/Black Buck/Sika are pretty much over most of the Hill country. Nilgai mainly southand west of Corpus Christi/Kingsville, then there are small pockets of varius exotics scattered across west Texas toward the Big Bend. Aoudad are in scattered pockets in the Big Bend/Davis Mts. area along with the canyon complex starting at Palo Duro and moving south to Caprock Canyons. Then there are scattered/localized pockets of small numbers of exotics scattered all over the state. Check out TP&W's website for more info: www.tpwd.state.tx.us/ Even the rocks don't last forever.

While I do not have a map the largest area is going to be in the Hill Country, north north west of San antonio. Northwest of SA towards Rock Springs, north from there to the Junction area, east south east to Fredricksburg and south east back to Bulverde. While there are other areas with exotics this area seems to have the most widely dispersed and mainly low fenced ranches. The species I have seen wild out there are axis, blackbuck, fallow, sika and an occational stag or African antelope. Way out west you can find elk and audad too. Perry

I know of ranches in the hill country that have Axis/Blackbuck etc that did not put them there so technically they are free ranging. I also have seen Elk, Red Stag, Blackbuck and Fallow deer around the Brazos river that have gotten out of private breeders property. I killed a Red Hind, and a cop friend of mine took a pic of an Elk just across the road from Texas A&M with his phone at 4am, I berated him for not calling me.... As far as a map goes though, I don't know if such a thing exist. They may have a handle on some Audad though, because there are several herds that are on state property and I believe the State owns some of them. The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends. I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.
