Add me to the list of NOT using FAIL SAFE bullets on anything except maybe the 230 gr 338 Mag or 270 gr in the 375 H&H on Brown Bears.

I quit using them on any other game. They are too tough.

Give me the TBBC anytime for an expanding bullet.

Take it from someone whos been down that road, DO NOT even think about the Fail Safe (The KEY word is FAIL, fail to open properly.) I've seen more failsafes pencil on game than any other bullet and alot of the animals shot w/ them were not recovered. Fail Safes have an intented purpose, read it on the side of the box, intended for VERY LARGE DANGEROUS GAME.

The best bullet IMO for what you're after is the 180 BSTs. The 180 BSTs are more than enough for what your after.

Good Luck, I hope you get some nice trophies.
