We just completed a 5 day hunt in New Mexico and she took this nice desert bull on the last day. The elk were hiding really well, so we used a cow call to get him in. 32 yard shot from her Tikka 308 with a suppressor. Frontal shot to the chest, dropped on the spot. Three hours to dress the bull and a tough 2 hour pack out. She had a blast and now wants to go back for another! Hell of a bull for anyone, let alone a first timer. Question is: why is she ducked down so low behind the bull? Height has no relation when mostly laying down behind game.
