Gents, I am looking for opinions or comments about the "TreeSuit" from some of you guys who use clibers and hang on stands alot.. See their site for full details: http://www.treesuit.com/ We don't get climbing or hang on stands here in the UK and due to weight, I suspect importing one would be damn expensive. However, this "treesuit" seems light enough to think about doing that. I am looking for someting that is light and quick to set up and comfortable enough to use for 2 to 3 hours at a time. I realise I would still need tree steps or a climber of somesort, but what do you guys think of the basic idea? It would be for rifle hunting only... I am in the process of building a portable ladder at present, so this would be an alternative stand just to give me extra flexibitity... regards, Pete

I know they show a guy with a bow but one would be hard press to make a decent shot with one from the thing. It could be ok with a rifle but it looks like you are realy limited to the direction one can shoot. I don't think I would spend my money on one. If you want there are good plans for making hanging stands that are cheap and work good.

I have a perment stand built out of treated wood, a small hanging stand, and a tree lounge. I am looking for a light weight climber. I know I will never own that.

Pet I know a guy tried it once! Went on the auction block after that. I would buy a nice SUMMIT climbing stand and not look back. I have sent several things overseas and the shipping costs are not that bad. I am sure if you could not get it mail order that soemone would buy it and send it over.
