Note the result with his backup shot. He stated in the article that it’s not a great option for the average hunter, but rather that when things go right it works. I don’t think anyone disagrees that when everything works it will do the job… but then, so will a .22 rimfire. I also suspect that recoil is the same for this and the .243, except that with the fast twist required it might be marginally more felt recoil in similar weight guns. | |||
