Monday was my first day back at work so I have to post between jobs,as I have been busy. Day 4 was another long hard day.We are averaging 12 miles a day through rough country. No legal rams...but we saw 7 rams of various sizes. The weather was nice today, most of the snow melted, but the clouds at days end look to be returning. Day 5 RAIN AGAIN.We hiked up "brush canyon".A long hike that has brush right to the head of the canyon. We are fighting brush till we sidehill a steep elevation to top out.We spot a 1/2 curl ram at the top.But the clouds come in and we can't see 100 yards. We waited an hour but the clouds are not lifting. On the river bottom we spot a black wolf.... The hunt was on,for 1/2 hour I was a wolf hunter, but no luck.He just did not get close enough. The weather was still looking iffy for the next day. I was getting a little nervous with half the hunt over. Heres a picture of some of the country we were hunting in.

Great stories and a wonderful trophy. Nothing like putting a sock in the fat lady's mouth just as she's getting fired up. Good going!
