With all this talk of getting meat out of Canada, what the deal on getting meat *into* Canada from the US. Wild meat, hunted meat, e.g. bison. Does anybody know the regs by heart, before I embark on a lengthy search, through govt websites?

Seems that there should be no problem for wild game carcasses, if the "hunter's permit" is OK...proof of origen the main concern.
