This is my deer for this year. He was shot at about 15 yards in very heavy cover along a river in eastern Montana. A HUGE buck was fighting with him and I shot the wrong one as they stepped into a clearing. I was disapointed but not dejected. Any whitetail is a nice trophy. I used a .338 Win Mag with 230 grain Winchester Failsafe handloads.
This is what I mean when I say HUGE. These bucks are from 1999 and 2000. My scope only saw one!

Skibum, Hopefully the "big one" makes it till next season so you can go 4 for 4. Great bucks, all of them. I have really noticed that in the last few years, eastern Montana has been producing some giant Whitetails. TTS
