Just to the east in Wis. they closed most of the zone in just a couple of weeks their quota being taken.

Tells me we have a lot of wolves.

Unfortunately, the doofuses in MN are actively advertising that the reductions in moose here is due to climate change (on all kinds of radio stations...) and that "we are damaging our vital hunting economy" and losing an "iconic species of the wilderness!" all due to climate change...

Meanwhile, the DNR quietly admitted that the initial data on moose mortality in MN looks like it is wolf related, but more study is needed...

Supposedly all paid for by the national wildlife fund. Strange how all the sudden the hunters are important economically (although it was never much of an economic force here with moose hunting...)
