I am a little slow sometimes, or just don't pay a lot of attention, but did or has Dallas Safari Club and SCI had a parting of the ways?

Dallas Safari Club has been separate from SCI for quite a while.

I did not reaize that.

The reason I was asking was because I have been getting emails from the North Texas Chapter of SCI announcing their show at Bass Pro in March 2009, And I guess I have been asleep because this was the first I had seen of the organization.
