Seems some Illinois hunters are receiving this survey asking if they would support the reintroduction of wolves into the state.





The state is billions of dollars in debt and will never crawl out, the buffoons that run this place can't come up with a balanced budget. Two thirds of our conservation staff was laid off. So now, apparently, its time for a liberal pet project. LETS SEE ABOUT TURNING LOOSE SOME WOLVES.

WTF... might be a good idea to turn a pack loose in the state house!

Having grown up in northern IL it is hard for me to image why you would intentionally introduce wolves to IL. I suppose there may be places in southern IL that might support them.

Why not re-introduce non-predatory species first?

Sounds like a nice way to ruin all the deer hunting in the state.

Illinois........ why seems like perfect wolf habitat for a reintroduction. Vast areas of wilderness, premium big game habitat as far as the eye can see and a fairly small human population......

Maybe in downtown Chicago, to keep the night-time curfew.

They all ready get a few wis wolves now and then.

As along as they trap them in Wis and move a few hundred down there it would be just fine.
