Went and sighted in the blackpowder gun today, for the opener this weekend.I got it sighted in, and moved the target out as far as I could and put up a new target.Fired one shot,about 1-1/2 high.My 12 YO asked if he could give it a try,so I loaded it up with the 80g of fffg goex,and a 300g hornandy xtp load I have been using for a few years.First time he has shot anything bigger than a 22.Range was 67 yards.

Looks like your boy needs a man's gun for Christmas.
