Does any one know if the bases for a Dual Dove tail is available in stainless steel finish for a Rem. 700?
Any experience of the accuracy of the Leupold QR detachable mounts? Does it work to remove it several times and still have the accuracy?

Monz: I did not locate SS Leupold dual dovetail for my recent installation on a Remington 700 - I used the matte finish, they look good on a SS action with a matte finish scope and are very secure - I have been using Leupold quick release on a Remington 700 in 338 Win Mag, this mount has always returned to zero after numerous removals / installations - my primary scope is a 1.5-5 and I take a back up 3-9 (just in case)in the QR - very reliable system - my hunting buddy uses a Talley QR system, he seems to like it quite a bit.

OK! I�ve just bought a QR for my new 700 ADL.
On it i have a Kahles 2-7x36 for day hunting and will add a Kahles 2,5-10x50 for night hunting(boar).
I havent tested the rifle nor the scope(mounts) yet, but �t will be interresting to see if it will keep the accuracy.
The DD will I mount on a Stainless BDL .280 AI, that i�m planning to get. It will also have a Kahles scope mounted, a fixed 10x50.
Since the action is stainless i think it would look good to have the bases in the same finish and the rings matte black as the scope.
