Right there, open the window,

klick on the moose, let the program run and test shoot.

in general the prefered shoot placement for a calm moose is a clean lung shot.

The moose will expire within 30 sec to one min and might walk some 1-200 meters.

A trotting moose, should be shot through the shoulder, the same rules apply for the expiration, however up to 250 meters of travel afterwards is not uncommon.

Heart shots are not to be recommended.

For clarity I decided to draw a little pic,

Red is lung, green is for moving game, Yellow is top of heart shot.

This bull has his leg in a preferred position, front ie less shoulderblade covering the vitals,

Avoid shots when the leg is at the back, the leg joint is very heavy/hard and one need a really upscale cal to handle that shot.

Your opinion may vary.

Best regards Chris
