My buddy couldn't make it out openning day speed goat hunting so we returned last weekend and try and fill his tags. The september hunt found me in hunting in almost 80 degree weather and shorts.
Not so last weekend. Didn't get above freezing, blowing snow and windy.
this was the only shot I got during a break in the weather--that is with a camera. My buddy did fill his tags, but they look so much prettier on the hoof.
Of course all we had were doe tags. (yes the one in going over the hill is a buck too)

Is that a house, over the rise?

Yes; that probably was your back yard. I think I see you waving from the ranch house over the hill.

Winter sure comes pretty early at 7000'.
