The results of this years high plains deer hunting with my 20 & 22 year old sons. The whitetail was a 4x4 before he broke his rack doing a sommersault after a neck shot from a 30-30 Hornady LeverEvolution. The mulie is a 5x5 and fell to a 7MM RemMag. They field dressed at 200 lbs. & 175 lbs. respectively.

Two Very happy hunters!

Congratulations on some fine kills.

The antler getting broken off just adds a very memorable touch to the story.

Good hunting and clean 1-shot kills.

Nice bucks... you should be proud of your sons! Could you put the whitetail back together?

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
