I'll be on a company fishing trip to the Kenai this September, and while I don't mind fishing, I'd prefer to hunt if possible. Since I only have a couple days, I was going to try and find a black bear.

Any one ever hunt this area?

Suggestions?

Throughout this area are some very good spots,I just got back from Fairbanks yesterday and had initially had a trip planned to do the very same thing as you are asking about but I had to change plans. You should get some very good responses from the board.
