I'm seeking reports on how the Zeiss Conquests are holding up in terms of durability, holding and maintaining zero ,tracking, withstanding recoil, and the general rigors of hunting.

I've got two, a 3-9X40 and a 4.5-14X44. I've had the 3-9 for about a year and hunted with it a lot last deer season. The 4.5-14 was bought about 3 months ago and has only seen action at the range.

I haven't had any problems whatsoever with either of them so far. The 3-9X40 sits atop my .300 Weatherby and has a little over 500 rounds fired under it. It stills hold perfect zero.

I like them a lot. They are optically superior to any scope I have ever owned (Leupold, Redfield, Nikon, etc) except for perhaps the Swarovski 3-12X50.
