I had a hunt booked for a Management Stag on my ranch in Texas. The hunter backed out and now I am left with a Stag that I would like to have harvested before the peak of the breeding season.

The roar is about to start, so he should be more visible now, rounding up his harem. I like to hunt the Stag by spot and stalk and this time of the year is a lot fun. The hunt should be done before the end of September.

$2200 total cost. Accommodations on the ranch included, but no meals.

The ranch is 1000 acres high fenced. The Stag is a 6 or 7 year old Stag. His crown is a ball of very short tines and he is missing one ear.

Observers can come for no charge, and can hunt most other exotic animals for the trophy fees only, with the exception of trophy Red Stag.

You can make it a father/son or daughter hunt by adding a Red Deer Hind ($300) or an Aoudad Ewe ($400).

That's a good value and Wendell is one of the good guys. He shouldn't have any problem selling it.

Guys, I highly doubt Wendell has these stags trained to come to a feed bucket. I'm sure it will be a challenging hunt, from the looks of the terrain on Wendell's website. Good luck selling the hunt. If I had the money right now, I would take it.
