I saw those pictures in either Outdoor Life or Field & Stream magazines, about 15 years ago.

It happened over in Montana. The Montana F&G game warden who was attacked, killed the Griz with his S&W .357 Magnum. If he'd not been armed, and determined, he'd probably have been killed. As it was, his leg was not only chewed on but broken.

hook a winch to raise the gate and run the control cable into the cab.

gohip2000, that's lesson #1.

Lesson #2 would be get better friends who don't sit in the cab of the truck when you're getting attacked by a grizzly.

People should add other lessons from these photos
