Yeah we'll be up there in unit 47-hunting them hornless goats-as we got over the counter left overs for does! And lots of coyote and dog tags! As long as we don't run out of ammo! Have fun!

Nope- prairie dogs and other vermin are yours for the taking, no tag required. Out here you eat what you shoot though!

I'm hunting area 46 for antelope starting Sept 25th. A rancher there has invited us to not only hunt antelope on his land but also shoot prairie dogs. I have my goat tag and landowners permit thingie and I know I have to buy a conservation stamp when I get in state, but do I also have to buy any other small game license or anything to shoot prairie dogs?

Thanks, Can you recommend a good recipe for prairie dog? The only one I have is slow roasting them on a skewer with peppers, mushrooms and onions, brushed with a ginger-apricot sauce.
