Spent the past few days guiding a couple guys from Tenn. here in our local Mts.
Gave the "Full Monte" experience.
No zoom used to take these.
Saw 10 Griz in 2 days.
Steady Mt. ponies and well minded bears.
Enjoy and Safe travels

Snell,

Swing by the house and pick me up before you hit I-25 North. I'll have my bags packed, I'm in too!!

Sorry Snellstrom / graybird
no tags or season on our Griz.
Half of the 10 was a Big ole' sow with
four 2yr old cubs.
There was a HERD of grizzlies coming down the opposite slope.
Ran into her and her clan down the trail later that night at about 80 yds.
Gave her a shout and she reared up on her hind
legs to look us over then slapped her cubs in the butt and led them off into the surrounding country.
I see them all the time but have to agree with JAH, they are magnificent!

She is a great mamma Bear to raise 4 cubs to 2 year old status, good for her that's got to be tough.
I'd like to see some Wyoming Grizzlies sometime.

That picture over your ponies ears is great, I love it.

You going to be in Colorado for third or fourth season Deer/ Elk this year?

Those are some good horses not to be in stamppede mode.

Not going to make it to Co. this yr but I know you fellas got a pocket full of fun tickets.
You still working in Sheridan?

TexKD
They are steady ponies that have seen and been around Grizzlies enough to not "stampede"
thou they will keep their eye on them when
we run into them.
Eased past 2 bears that day at spitting distance.
