Congratulations to you both! Wisconsin lowered the hunting age to 10 a few years back. Kids under 12 can hunt while within arms reach of a hunter-mentor. So I was sitting right next to my son when he shot his first deer, a little buck like that, at age 11. One of my best memories!!

It makes me sad to see these posts because you can't hunt with my daughter this year. I do love seeing these posts though.

Tell her great job!

Well done! Well done indeed.

I have 4 daughters and they all hunt. They're married adults now but we have memories of near countless deer hunts.

Girls and guns! It doesn't get any better than that.

That's so cool! My daughter will be 9 next year and wants to go through hunter's safety. WA has no minimum age and she's been hunting with me for 5 years. I look forward to a similar result!

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

Is this the same 20 gauge H$R your other kids have used to bag game?

Todd

Yes the same 20 gauge H&R. We have shot 7 deer with that shotgun this year.
