http://castboolits.gunloads.co...owthread.php?t=17627 http://castboolits.gunloads.co...owthread.php?t=17794 OSHA (dept of Labor) has proposed a new rule that will make shipping explosives illegal. This is being interpreted as no gun powder, loaded ammo, primers, and black powder. -------------------------------------------------------- Behavior accepted, is behavior repeated.

Thanks for the heads up. I contacted the OSHA website and looked the regs up, then wrote a letter of objections and sent it to them. I also have e-mailed my federal senator and congressmen asking them to oppose this too. I also contacted NRA, but it is already on top of it all. Lastly, I e-mailed five hunting friends to tell them about this and ask for some action from them. If we all sit on our butts waiting for someone else to act, you'll see $60 boxs of .243 ammo, a pound of H414 costing $75 and primers so high we'd gave to buy them by the hundred to afford them. Do not wait, act now. July 12 is just a few days away. Tom Purdom

How does OSHA propose to ship same stuff for cops and military? Or is this the prelude to a sweet deal for trucking companies who have exemptions for national security reasons? Jeez, reading this is like chewing sawdust, 55 pages written by would-be-Faulkners... TomP Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right. OSHA in standing down after several polititians and thousands of us regular folks Zumboed their website. They claim that they did not know that it would have an impact on gun stores and that it was never intended to be any sort of ammo regulation. The proposed new rule change is dead.
