I finally got one of those magnums! M [Big Grin] y wife was good to me for Christmas. She bought me a 300WM MKII. It has pretty wood and good blueing, but are they good guns? I shot one in 7mm one time that was accurate. Thanks for your input. Good shooting!

I have a Ruger 77 MKII in 6.5X55. Out of the box with factory ammo it printed 2" groups at 100 yds. With some load development I got her at 1/2" to 3/4" with 120 gr Nosler BTs. The other Rugers I've shot had similar results. I like the mauser style action and 3 position safety that the M77 uses.

I am with Ben, mine will shoot 1" or less all day at 200 yards. Used it on an interior grizzly this fall with outstanding results.
