I would like to find a new lease, preferably Hill Country with some exotics and hogs. Size of whitetails is not too important. I would prefer to lease about 1000 acres for four hunters. This would have to be a family lease my wife and kids will be included.

I'll keep my eyes peeled. I have a lot of people asking me to find them a lease right now but good ones are hard to come by.
Also, I'm sending a PM.

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.

I too am on the prowl for S. Texas lease as my group has given up the current one. Too many "locals" buying 50 ac "ranchitas" on the fencelines- that is sure death to anything that moves.

Many are coming available and I expect many more as June/July comes around. Yes, the really good ones are still a little closely held but some of those $8-10K per gun are starting to wilt a little and I expect some will open up at closer to $5K as the season gets nearer.

Keep your powder dry and your eyes and ears open and alert.
