I may be in Cuzco on business next spring and I'd hate to miss a chance to hunt in the Andes. What do I need to know about firearms importation, etc. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance, Okie John.

I worked in Cusco a while back, and in a few other places in the Andes as well. We saw very little game (I was always keeping an eye out), just Vicunas (a relative of a llama) and guinea pigs. There are probably more animals further away from civilization tho'. Great place to play tourist. - Dan

They've just discovered another lost city in the amazon area of Peru. Home of the Chachapoyas and may have had as many as 10,000 people. Yes it's a fascinating tourist place !
