You guys bring up a good point. What would be a rough guess as to what shipping an crating would cost. Now, I have never been hunting out of state, so how do I get my elk home? I know ibex come home on the plane, but isn't an elk to big? My local taxidermist charges about $850 for an elk and he does what I feel to be good work, but we'll see when I go to get my first mount from him in a few weeks. (Animals sure do shrink from when shoot them, could have sworn my sheep was bigger when I dropped it off.) It seems like sending the elk home is a better route and I feel better when I can drop by and see the progress. Thanks. Sevens

A taxiderist I have used and he does very good work and is reasonably priced is Capp's taxidermy in Anaconda. If you want his number let me know and I will send it to you. Russ
