This is a bit long and I don't know where to post it, but since its about deer hunting I guess this is as good a place as any. It involves a couple of practical jokers, one of whom was our local warden. Our chief joker in this case snuckoff and stole the wardens deer decoy. It was opening morning of muzzleloader season when they went out to their favorite deer stand, properly set up by a second joker. The warden was placed in a tree stand, which was guaranteed to be just the right one for the day. The morning was foggy, and as the light became brighter, our warden saw this nice buck head just sticking out from behind a tree. It was a small tree and the chest was visable. As the light increased enough for him to see his sights, he level up on the buck and shot. Ducking under the smokescreen, he looked to see how he did. It was then that he recognized his decoy. Now unbeknown to him, a third party was in the next stand with a video camera. The entire scene was captured, including the acts of despair, and accompanying words. Oh, woa was him. Now the video was duplicated, put to music, and a distribution as made to all parties. Our warden snuck in and made off with a copy, but again fate struck. The copy he made off with was in fact a video of breast feeding infants, instead of his. That night, his church pastor came over for dinner, and our boy was to show him the video that these villians had made. Out came the breast feed. If that wasn't enough his wife the following night cooked him up some venison steaks, made of styrafoam. Now a thing like this does get around. This happened a few years ago, but a thing like this does get around. Just a bit ago it was found that a copy had gotten into the state game warden training school and was being shown. Sufficient retribution is yet to come.

Hey Butch, You have me smiling and the people in the Library wondering what is so funny.

Darn shame you don't have a Link to the " Shooting " portion. I'd love to see it in action.

Thanks for sharing.
