Gents, I bought a Drilling about 5 years ago here in Germany, I’m pretty picky and it took me over a year to find a drilling that suited my requirements. 12/12x8x57JRS 600mm( 23.6”) barrels. It’s the finest most accurate example I have ever tested. I probably tested 100-150 Drillings. It shoots 2 3/4” Brenneke Camu into same hole at 35m and is damn close to 1 MOA if you shoot 8x57 slowly. My question is has anyone ever heard of the name “Edgar Hübner Büchsenmachermeiester, Suhl”. The gun’s original proof date is interesting 6-41. Any help would be absolutely be helpful.

Hi, and congrats on a great gun! A few pictures would be appreciated. I suggest that you pose questions on a German forum. I had some questions about a drilling from Ferlach last year, and the good people at the Wild Und Hund forum were super helpful! https://forum.wildundhund.de/ I wrote in English, and that was no problem. Best regards from Norway

Thank y’all, both have proven to be great resources, appreciated. I have received requests for pictures. I am not tech savvy enough to post here but if anyone is interested in what 800€ will get you in Germany with a little looking. Email me at Jmason285@gmail.com my name is Jeremiah Mason and I live in Otterberg Germany. I post this as a guy that lusted for a drilling as a young man, many were 2000$ even in the mid 90s. In Germany you can get the same drilling for 3-400$ max. Respectfully J. Mason
