In my experience I have seen 30/06, 243, 308 375 Winchester and 9.3x74R in double barrels in the 412. The latter two are ejector barrels. I had a 375 rechambered for 375 H&H flanged. Twist was too slow for bullets over 250 grains. I also had a shotgun barrel set sleeved with 450/400 barrels. You should be able to find a set of 9.3 barrels for about $1200. That's what I would recommend.

i d like to hear a little more about the 450/400 on your 412.

i own now 2 412. one with double 9.3x74r, 1 double 12 ga and one 412 in 12 ga and 222 rem,.
