I have acquired a 9.3x74r barrel set. While surfing the web, have found a couple of posts that suggested trimming the ejector springs by 2 coils. Has any valmet user had an ejector break on the shotgun barrel set or ejector rifle set?

Never, and I shot both shotgun and 9,3X74R a lot with both the Finnish and Italian barrel sets.

Thanks LTS,
As these models are being disc, I was concerned about parts availability. No more than I shoot any more should be OK. Again thanks for the response.

No ejector spring problems but I once got in an action that had been stored cocked for 10 years or more. The springs took a set and had to be replaced.
