Opening day of Texas gun season was Saturday November 7, and I have been anxiously awaiting it since receiving my BBF 97 "Tracker" in 12 ga over 308 in August. Though I have already carried it afield quite a bit, I hadn't drawn any blood with it. Saturday morning, I killed an 11 point with the 308 barrel that is the largest deer in both rack and body that has been taken off our place, and Sunday morning, I killed a mature barren doe with buckshot out of the shotgun barrel. Both barrels appear to be equally fatal on game.

Nice rifle. AND NICE BUCK !! That is a Blaser?? I am not very familiar with drillings and combo guns. I have started to look hard at them as there are always birds (Partrige) out when I am deer hunting an vice versus up here in Maine. BBF barks again, and the bite is definitely worse than the bark.
