I have a drilling that has a Krieghoff 22 insert. I would like to store the insert in a hole under the buttplate, along with a couple 9.3 shells and a few .22 shells. A trap buttplate might work for this, but the trap door on the buttplate I have is not large enough for the 16GA diameter insert to pass through. Is there another approach for accessing the items under a buttplate? It doesn't have to be a trap. A hinged or swinging buttplate would also do the same thing. Any ideas?
