A little over a week ago, I ordered another set of barrels for my Blaser BBF97, in 8X57JRS/12 Gauge. I all ready have 6.5x55/20 gauge, and 9.3x74R/20 gauge. I went with a 12 Gauge this tmes, as due to my hoarders issues, I seem to have several hundred Brenneke 12 gauge slugs stashed in my house. Probably will not get them until late spring, but look forward to giving them a go.

They tell me my forearm, and barrel set will be in my hands the end of Feb. I have stocked up on brass for the 8X57JRS, and am ready to rock and roll.

Can the 97 BBF barrels also be fit to the BB97?
I'm assuming yes.

Got home with my new barrel set yesterday. Low and behold it fit perfectly with no fitting needed. My new forearm is a bit blonde compared to my butt stock, but I will live with it. Loaded up a few rounds, took about three shots to get it centered on the paper. Then shot a three shot group, right at an inch. Just need to raise it up a tad, and I have got it.
