I must say I have been impressed with my 2 Blaser D 99 Duo's [both double rifle drillings]. My first was a 9,3x74R with a 20ga 3 " bbl. I liked it so much I now have a 308 with a 20ga 3" bbl. Both of them shoot very well at 100 yards. The 308 has shot groups under one inch at 100!! Aleko of Heritage Arms has a 2 bbl set, a regular drilling 308 and 20ga and a Duo with 9,3 and a 20ga bbl. His guns shoot as good as mine. Go to www.blaserpro.com and look under the combination gun forum under "I'm Excited" to see some of our groups. These guns handle in the field great as well. You are able to regulate the rifle bbls yourself. It is very easy, we did both of our Duo's in one range session. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

From looking at the 99 I wonder if it wouldn't be possible to make a three barrel rifle .....

all the same calibre - a three shot 9.3x74R, for instance.

I do not think you can get 3 9,3 bbls. You can get 2 9,3 bbls and a smaller calibre, the biggest small calibre being the 6,5x65R. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

404 I bought my first the 9,3 Duo off the rack in Dallas. My second, the 308 Duo, I ordered through Aleko at Heritage Arms. In fact he liked my 9,3 so much he ordered one for himself a 20ga/308 D99 [Drilling] and later an extra set of bbls in 9,3/20ga [double rifle drilling]. I would suggest you contact him to order one. What calibre are you thinking about? DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

You could get a 3 barrel rifle, just buy a Keller & Simman insert barrel for the regular D99 Duo's 20 GA tube(in 9.3 or other calibers). I am planning to put a 7x65R or 30-06 insert barrel into the 20GA barrel of my Krieghoff Optima (Quadro). It has S/S 9.3x74R barrels on top. Regards, Vasa

NE 450 I am actually in the market for a B95 in something like 12g and 30-06. I have a similar chambering in a Kreighoff but would also like a Blaser. They come up very rarely for sale. How long did it take for you to receive yours after you ordered it? ______________________________ "Are you gonna pull them pistols,...or whistle Dixie??" Josie Wales 1866

404 Do you want the B 95 or the B 97. The B 95 uncocks after EACH shot, where with the B 97 you can shoot two shots. I oredered it from Aleko at Heritage Arms and it took about 3 months. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

Vasa, I had never heard of K&S. Looked at their website, it is amazing the various inserts that are available. I think a triple 9.3 would be a good brown bear rifle.

Possibly, but the thing would weigh a TON! Blaser does make a D99 "Trio" (3 rifle barrels), but on their website it looks as if only two of the barrels can be as large as 9.3. The lower right barrel is specified at max 6.5mm. Although they may make one as a custom... Even though the D 99 has three barrels it only has two locks. So after shooting the first 2 barrels, you would have to decock and recock, then press the barrell selector to shoot the third barrel. It would probably be just as quick to break open th rifle and reload the 2 fired barrels, close the gun and recock. Besides, the whole point of the D 99 to ME is to have a double rifle, with the shotgun barrel always present. That way I always have the capability to take grouse, ducks, etc. when hunting. Captian Dave I will have the 308 and the 9,3 Duo there. They are the 2 best shooting multiple barreled guns I have fired. Well I ,must add Alekos D 99's shoot just as good. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

I have the 95, in 7x57R/12G. Easily my most useful hunting instrument. I have found the 95 lock works just fine, for me. Having to recock after each shot takes about the same time as flipping the safety off, anyway. And the 95 is about a grand cheaper ($3,900 V 5,100), here in OZ. I have the Docter Optic reflex 11 sight, and a Leupold Euro 3-9x50 on mine, both with saddle mounts. Very nice kit, I think you will like yours. All the best with your choice. Cheers, Dave. Sambar I have not handled a B 95. Does the B 95 uncock immediately when you shoot one barrel and the cocking lever return to the uncocked rear position? I have a Docter Optic 11 on a Blaser R 93 Tracker, as well as I am testing the Zeiss Z Point and also a Blaser Hit Point Pro [made by S&B. I really like the DO as it is just so small and compact. Mr. T congrats on the new drilling. We talked about a .308 double in the past but the drilling is a smart twist on that idea. Merry christmas to yau and all here at AR DRSS NRA life AK Master Guide 124

AKshooter Merry Christmas to you too, and the rest of AR as well. Yes this 308 shoots way better than I thought a double would. As a plus, because it is a Blaser I was able to regulate the barrels for the supply of 308 ammo I have on hand. How is everything in AK. Been eating any King Crab? DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

Mr. T I left AK last week. Been hunting deer here in IN. I'm on my way in Jan to hunt with Jonny and Larry in Florida and Georgia. Your new drilling would work well for that trip. I wish I had mine here. DRSS NRA life AK Master Guide 124

Yes, the 95 goes to the uncocked position upon firing, ready for cocking for your second shot. Not a real drama with the 7x57R/12G BBF, but I can see where it would be a problem with a double rifle configuration. It works for me, mostly because I consider it to be 2 single shots, one a rifle, and one a shotgun, able to cover most of my hunting contingencies. Rabbit, duck or deer, it will do the trick, as long as I am careful. If a really quick follow up shot is needed (maybe a rifled slug?), or later on a double rifle BBL set might be purchased, I would probably pay the extra and get the 97. JMHO. BTW, the Docter reflex 11 is a great little sight, isn't it? Cheers, Dave. Aut Inveniam Viam aut Faciam.

If I've understood it correctly, the B95 has one lock only, the B 97 has two locks. So, you have to cock the B 95 after each shot. The B 97 is the version to go for if you want a Blaser O/U double rifle. It can be had in with either double or single trigger. Having the B 95 with a single lock is not a big deal in a combo gun but I wouldn't want it if the guns was used a double rifle. Barrel sets are all inter changable. Both Blasers are beautifully made guns. They come ready made for Blaser's QD scope mount. Vasa
