Does anyone know about the Finnclassic line of comboguns? To me, the pictures look like the old (Italian made) 512 Valmet. The info says that they are available as a shotgun, BBF, and a double rifle. If the quality is any good, they might be an option. Cheers, Dave.

Hi Dave I don't know about these new guns, but those old finnish made guns(tikka 412) were very nice shooting irons often with excellent accuracy, but rather heavy guns, yes Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

G'day yes, I used to have a 412 in 222Rem/12g, a great little fox gun. But I recall reading somewhere that the Italian made 512s are not as good. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about it? Cheers, Dave. Cheers, Dave. Aut Inveniam Viam aut Faciam.

A buddy of mine had for a time an Italian made 512 about which he reported no difficulties. Cosmetically I found it more attractive than the my Finnish 412. I read a review in one of the gunrags (Gun World?) about the Finnclassic that made it clear it is very much the 412/512 resurrected.

Yes, I have seen a couple of write-ups on them, but, the only one I have actually seen, looked more like a Baikal, than a finely made Italian (or Finnish for that matter) $2,500 firearm. If forced to choose, I'd probably take the Baikal, at $800, it is cheap, as well as looking cheap. Perhaps these new one are a different manufacturer? Can anyone shed some light on this? Cheers, Dave. Cheers, Dave. Aut Inveniam Viam aut Faciam.
