i saw a unique trap buttplate on a pre-war sempert & krieghoff drilling. it resembles the mannlicher schoenauer buttplate except that the "door" is much larger.

this enables a subcaliber insert barrel to be stored in the buttstock so it is always handy.

there is plenty of room for spaces to hold a few insert caliber rounds and some rifle caliber rounds. or a sectional cleaning rod.
