My Fox double is at the smith. But, I have a Sauer drilling chambered in 16 ga. I have never shot this gun as of yet. My question is can I shot modern ammo in it? Our dove season opens on the first of Sept. and I don't have another splatter gun. Thanks, James

If it's nitro proofed and has 2 3/4 chambers (or you use the right length) and the action is tight, it should be fine with any factory or published reload.
