I wonder if these people could have been saved if a hunter would have shot this lion while it was young?

Man, you are a clever guy.... "...Them, they were Giants!" J.A. Hunter describing the early explorers and settlers of East Africa hunting is not about the killing but about the chase of the hunt.... Ortega Y Gasset

Lioness Attack Victim Buried Wanjohi Gakio 28 July 2011 The skull and a few bones which remained after a 60-year-old woman was eaten by a lioness two weeks ago were buried yesterday at Njabini area of Kinangop district. Martha Nduta had gone to visit her mother at Rubere village in Laikipia West district. Nduta was killed and eaten by the lioness which attacked her on the way to buy milk for her sick mother at the shopping centre last friday. She was set to return to her Kinangop home the following day. The burial conducted by a Seventh Day Adventist church pastor. Her husband Jason Mwangi Karanja is a retired primary school teacher. The lioness which ate her was killed over the weekend by a warden from Laikipia Nature Conservancy, a private game ranch.
