Just used one on one the 98s I have. A world of difference! It's not a drop in, some fitting was required.

Replacing the existing site is on my list to do this spring and now I have a source.

Those little bitty sights on a Mauser are hard to see and use.

I'm thinking of buying another rear sight ladder and filing a matching square notch in it, also.

I made a peep sight for my yugo with a small socket head screw with a hole drilled through it and soldered in the notch of a spare mauser rear sight. Had to put in a taller front sight.
