There is an article on it in the current Rifle Shooter (I pulled this pic from Shooting Times of the same rifle). The bolt has been moved back and the receiver has a relief cut for it. The floor plate has been replaced and the internal mag shortened. I think it looks pretty darn unique. there was a write up on that build in sgn a couple years ago. it turned out to be a very nice rifle, but i think it would have been much nicer with a different rear sight and a slightly smaller scope i've relocated the bolt handle on one of my mosins and its not all that difficult.

That rear site is hideous now that you mention it. Just a plain Remington type would be nice. Agree on the scope, just put a straight 4, 6, or a 2x7x33. But I like the lines of the action. Put a Mannlicher stock on it and it becomes a poor man's 6.5x54mm for a lot less money and a more substantial and easier to get cartridge. Long ago Alvin Linden did a fine job of stocking a Mosin-Nagant. That rifle is pictured in Stackpole's DR #2276, P-100 2021
