Very cool rifle! If I were in a tunnel sweeping it out I'd want a shotgun for sure, if I were hunting bears in the thick I'd want that rifle you've got there. Nice gun.

If it were 35 caliber or better it might have a use. JMPO roger
Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..
They never said who made the receivers-If they were GI and in good shape. They would be worth more if put back in original configuration- I would have to see one first- I have something similar- A swiss cheesed (6 holes drilled in it& plugged) Remington 1903 with a 16" barrel with an old Herters muzzle break with a Redfield receiver sight -in a cut down "C" stock- My truck gun!!

I wonder about the sight calibration- I guess maybe Gibbs would set the front height to correspond to the 100 yd setting on the rear (is there a 100 yd setting on those sights?)
Just thinkin' out loud.

I'll be honest, I don't like it. I don't like the stock and I don't like the sights. Just me though.

with 220gr rn bullets, it looks like an excellent hog/truck/4wheeler/tractor gun .. aint pretty, but it sure looks tough
