Mexican FN M24 short rifle value?
Came across one in a local store, no idea what it is worth? It is in good shape, no rust, all original, very distinct crest, not sure if all numbers match. Nice blue, cleaning rod, dated 1927. I know they are not seen every day, and that it is an intermediate size 98. Has the smoothest, slickest bolt I have seen. Not pristine but nice, much too nice to sporterize I think. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rick

What do they want for it? These are not as desirable as the 1910 Mexicans but they are nice rifles and not common.

Sounds in the reasonable range.

these are nice actions, and yours describes as better than average, especially the no rust part.

How does the bore look?

350-450, depending, i would expect

Large ring action I believe, not small ring like the 1910, 1936.

Yup, large ring
Thanks guys, nice to know I didn't get taken. Nice old gun to hang onto, shoot at my clubs military shoots and enjoy!
Cheers
