No. Ga. Airedale, I also have some Airedales and love them. One is out of an AR strain and is taller than standard. He is a great retriever and bird hunter, and gives my Labs a run for the money when swimming. I'm waiting to take delivery on a .35 Newton, which fit somewhere in the middle between the Whelen class performance and that of the STA, Ultras, etc. You might look at a Newton if you handload.

Isn't the Newton ~.523 at the base vs .511 for the Norma? It's been awhile since I've stared at the drawings, but I do believe it's quite a bit closer to the STA than you might think. Awesome round, and a damn shame it came ahead of its time. Excellent expansion ratio, problem is find-- er, making brass.
