Getting prepared to build my 400+ yard PG rifle for Tanzania in 2021.

I have an order for Defiance Machine Deviant Hunter Left Handed Action with 0 MOA rail, CRF and 3 position safety.

The action and barrel will be put together by SSK Industries.

Accurate Innovations will do the stock and then back to SSK for fine tuning.

Question is what barrel? Suggestions?

Currently I'm liking Brux Barrels.

Determine what bullets you want to shoot first and be sure and get the required twist to stabilize the bullets. I built my 300RUM on a 12 twist Shilen Stainless Select Match; and you may want longer than the standard magnum 26" barrel. You will get better velocities with a 28-30" barrel. The last few I purchased were Benchmark 3 grove barrels. It just depends on what you want in a finished rifle. Let us know what you decide and how it works out.
