I need to know an approximate value for a late production Remington M141 pump action rifle (.35 Rem). Barrel has been cut down to 18" from the original 22". Williams peep installed on the reciever. Original bluing is 90%, wood is excellent. If anyone could help me with this I appreciate it. Thanks. gd

I see uncut versions in NY and Pa in that condition for $400 to $450. Being cut I would say probably $300 to $350.

A friend of the family, had a stroke 4 or 5 years ago...he was about 65 at the time... he learned to hunt with one of those back in Minnesota.... he thought the Rem 141 in 35 Rem was about the best deer rifle ever made.. it was pretty much the only one he ever used... he had a stroke and his son in law went out and promptly hocked it, and bought some more games for his play station... at 27 yrs old... Thanks for the help. I really didn't have a ballpark idea of what they were worth, so I appreciate any info. gd
